What Insignia is
Insignia is a social platform: a network of private social networks. It is run by Future Proof Technology and Entertainment LLC, a US company. On Insignia, people start private, invite-only clubs that meet in person at places such as a gym, a café or a beach.
You join Insignia, not a club. You tell us where and when you're around and send us a WhatsApp message, and any club on Insignia can invite you. You can also start a club of your own.
Joining is free. You must be 18 or older and use your real name.
A platform, not the organiser
Clubs are started and run by users, not by Insignia. We don't organise, host or supervise clubs or their meetups, we don't vet members, and we don't check that people are who they say they are.
Venues are independent businesses. They are not affiliated with or endorsed by Insignia, and a club meeting at a venue doesn't mean the venue runs or approves it.
When you meet people through Insignia, you do so at your own risk. Use the same judgement you would with anyone you meet for the first time.
Running a club
If you start or run a club, you are responsible for it: whom you invite, what the club does, and that it follows the law and the rules of the places it meets. We may remove a club from Insignia.
Your name and photo
What you add, such as your name and photo, stays yours. You let us store it and show it to clubs and members on Insignia, so they can invite you, for as long as it's on your account. Only add photos of yourself that you have the right to share. You can delete them at any time; see privacy.
Premium
Premium is Insignia's one paid offer: an initiation fee and recurring dues. The price, how often you're charged, and what's included are shown on the offer before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card number. See refunds and cancellation.
By messaging us on WhatsApp, you agree to receive messages from us there about invites and your account. To stop our messages, email us and we'll stop.
Conduct
Treat other members with respect, in person and online. Clubs decide whom they invite and may remove members. We may suspend or end an account or a club that harms others or breaks these terms.
No guarantees
Insignia is provided as it is and as available. We don't promise that a club will invite you, that the service will always work, or that members are who they say they are.
Limits on our liability
As far as the law allows, Insignia and Future Proof Technology and Entertainment LLC are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for anything that happens between members, at meetups or at venues. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$100 if you paid nothing. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
Ending your account
You can close your account at any time by emailing us. When you do, we delete your data as the privacy page describes.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll tell you on WhatsApp or on this site before it applies. Using Insignia after that means you accept the new terms.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA. Disputes go to the courts of Wyoming, unless the law where you live gives you the right to go to court there.
